About Us

Research shows that many small positive interactions in a day add up to happiness. That's why we aim to do the small things well.

AcornShop is owned and operated by two women living in Portland, Oregon (USA).

We're passionate about helping small business owners succeed in the sometimes treacherous and often confusing world of online commerce.

Here are some of our guiding principles:

  • We believe that software does not have to be all things to all people—and suffers when it tries to be.
  • We believe in simplicity and that good design is as complex as it needs to be, and no more.
  • We believe that beauty elevates the soul.
  • We believe software is an integral part of our lives and that bad software, over time, makes people miserable and great software makes people happy.
  • We believe that everyone wants to love their work, and the way to do it is create something meaningful, help people in ways that matter, and to have fun doing it.
